Auto registrations boost spending

New car and light-truck vehicle registrations in Colorado jumped 36.1 percent in May 2011 compared with May 2010, while used vehicle registrations jumped 10.1 percent over the same period. That means more people in Colorado are returning to the car and truck retail markets around the state, spending more consumer dollars that add momentum to the state’s economic recovery.
