Obama’s proposed SBA budget from a credible source

A first explanation of the Obama administration’s proposed 2013 budget for the Small Business Administration comes from Robb Mandelbaum, writing in “You’re the Boss,” the New York Times blog on small business. Mandebaum notes that the budget document released so far does not reflect a recent announcement that Obama wants to merge the SBA and the Commerce Department. Maybe that suggests the merger is not ready for legislative bickering over how much it could actually save the government or help small businesses. Other than that, check out Mandelbaum’s first blush on the SBA numbers here.
