PioneerHQ.com is an almanac and business directory serving the Colorado business community as a meeting place, an information source and a marketing tool. The almanac provides the latest market information for all industries operating in the state, and puts the information in historical context so business owners and operators gain a real-time perspective on the growth or decline of the markets where they do business. The business directory also serves as a real-time measure of market participants and a business-to-business source for finding new customers, partners, investors and suppliers to help you do business in Colorado. Paid listings in the directory are a product of PioneerHQ, and provide the listee a forum for marketing the business. Each business has a story, and the story of a business is accessible through its directory listing. Founded in 2011 by entrepreneurs John Wren, Scott Rodgers and Robert Schwab, editor of the almanac, PioneerHQ is meant to be a dynamic, accretive community of Colorado businesses providing the information that every business needs to grow and prosper. Profiles of the founders follow.
Scott Rodgers, Digital Media
Scott provides website product management and web marketing for PioneerHQ.com. He is a Digital Marketing Engineer and has enabled organizations to take advantage of the web to engage their audiences and meet business objectives since 2001. Scott has a professional background in online media, where he managed over 120 websites owned by radio, television and newspaper properties — he has been at the center of building up a $4 million digital media business. He believes many of the principles used by local online media can also be applied to any organization’s web presence and marketing efforts. Scott grew up with a family business that employed over 45 Coloradans, and today, as owner of Accendo Digital, strives to help businesses grow through smart use of their web presence and web marketing. He invites you to connect on Twitter @accendodigital or Facebook.com/digitalmarketingengineer

** It is with deep sympathy that we report that Robert Schwab passed away on August 7, 2012 after a six year battle with cancer.
John S. Wren, Community Outreach

Much of what I learned in graduate business school I’ve had to overcome to be truly helpful to people starting in a new direction.” Wren is a Denver resident and long-time community activist, business consultant, and adult educator. He has been the Sales Manager at the Denver Clarion Newspaper, Villager Newspapers, and Sentinel Newspapers here in Denver when they were owned by the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and he has done marketing for other newspapers and magazines.
